That you exist not for pain or for pleasure
but quiet contentment
where mind loses resentment
in anticipation of tomorrow and the fruits she may bring
That you exist not for ache nor for need
But for bubbles and butterflies
Cheeky glances and stolen smiles
And a childlike love for each moment
That you exist in each second
Of each minute of each hour
Where time loses mind to slowly devour
Each day as if it were night time
That you exist for the power
Of love and joy and hope and peace
The pain of the memory’s soft release
Only because you exist

Amazing! <– That is all.
Beautiful words Nadine..I love it and the pic definitely works…xx
love the photo.
Actually i loved the pic when you sent it to me and I wrote a completely different poem for it called “These Hands”. But it seemed too literal and a bit lame. Was glad to find something that made more sense
