I’ve been thinking about making poetry posters such as this one available to purchase from The Poetry Project website. I would love to know what you think! My mom, Mary Larter, and sister, Melissa Larter, put this one together for after I had my baby and I’m pretty sure quite a few of our combos would lend themselves to the same thing. Once the book is available it’s going to be sold through the website and I quite like the idea of having a few other things available too. Feedback please!!

A lonely widow, a violent war
An under-aged hooker, an innocent prisoner

A fallen soldier, a murdered son
An overdosed addict, a dream lost before it’s begun
A bitter racist, stolen youth
And where will this childless mother’s tears fall tonight? (more…)

I need You…

Your love is a song singing through my soul
And when my heart is feeling weary I know where to go
It echoes in time, never changing it’s mind
‘Cause of this long-suffering Lord
I know you’re on my side (more…)
